Afternoon session: Your task, if you choose to accept it is ...

Now that you have had some experiences with collaborative classroom tools, let's see what you can do with them. Please respond to the following prompt (s):

1) Let me know if you used any of the tools in your classes. If so, how did it go? What did the students think? What did you think?

2) If you are not going to implement any of these tools soon, why? What is holding you  back? be honest please!

3) If you are in the planning stages, please share with us what you plan do do with the

  • Download online videos to external storage server: Zamzar
  • Collaborative document, PowerPoints presentation, and spreadsheets: Google Docs.
  • Free blogging: Blogger
  • Wiki: Wikispaces
  • Social networking: Facebook & Ning
  • Calls to computers and telephones, video chat, creating collaborative spaces: Skype
