  1. I am planning to use my blog as a communication tool to keep parents informed of things going on in our classroom. Hopefully the students will enjoy posting our learning. Also, I had a teacher request a "pen pal" situation on my blog. I guess that would more aptly be named a "blog pal", huh?

  3. I plan to use Ning as a way for parents, students, and I to connect. I'll use Google Docs as a way for students to collaborate on a few projects next year also. I've already created a wiki for the beginning teachers at our school as a tool for collaborating and introducing that kind of technology to them.

  4. I plan to set up a blog for my classes and use as a way to communicate with parents. I teach K-1 reading and do not have the same students all day. It was wonderful to find a way to convert and save educational vidoes from You Tube to use in class as well. I am interested in learning even more about all the tools discussed. I hope to incorporate them as I expore and feel more comfortable with each one. Thanks for all the great information!

  8. Thank you everyone for your comments. A big kudos for trying new things and being willing to embrace some of these new technologies. If you ever need any advice or want a longer workshop, please let me know. I will make sure those who posted get the CEUs. Best of luck!
